Adopting pets

The Adopt page is where you can browse the pets currently available on Stardust Trails.

How Adopting Works

• Pets appear on the Adopt page when they are currently active.
• A pet may have an adopt start date and adopt end date.
• If a pet is outside its adopt window, it cannot be adopted.
• Some pets may also be tied to a release month schedule.

Adoption Limits

Some pets may have a maximum number of times each user can adopt them.

If a pet has a limit:

• The site checks how many copies you already own.
• If you reached the max, you will not be able to adopt more.
• If you still have room, you may be able to adopt multiple copies at once depending on the setup.

Species and Areas

The Adopt page groups pets by their related area or origin type. This helps sort the currently available pets into cleaner sections.

Some pets may also be marked as Cross-Species.

Pet Credits

Some adoptable pets may include credits, such as:

• Lineart
• Lineart edits
• Coloring

This helps properly credit the artists and contributors involved with each pet.

Rewards for Adopting

Adopting a pet can currently reward:

• 20 Stardust per rewarded adoption
• Up to 2 rewarded adoptions per day

Tips

• Check the Adopt page regularly, especially during new monthly releases.
• If a pet is active only for a limited time, do not wait too long.
• Watch your notifications for newly active adopts.

New monthly pets are one of the sparkliest parts of the site, so peeking often is a smart little gremlin habit.
