Comet
Age: Unknown
Origin planet: Starfallen ruins
Companion: Nib

About:

Comet is Nib’s tiny traveling companion and the very serious self-appointed guardian of Ink Orbit’s rarest pens. Small, bright-eyed, and dressed with more flair than most space captains, Comet takes their duties extremely seriously, even when those duties mostly involve sitting on the counter and looking important.

Before joining Nib, Comet wandered between small market stalls and supply ships, following anything shiny, colorful, or snack-shaped. They had a habit of sneaking into crates, inspecting merchandise, and accidentally being shipped halfway across Bloomorbit, Starfallen ruins, and beyond. Somehow, Comet always seemed to arrive exactly where something interesting was about to happen.

Nib found Comet during a midnight pigment hunt, tangled in a crate of rare ink bottles and fiercely guarding them from absolutely no one. Rather than scold them, Nib declared Comet “a creature of excellent dramatic instinct” and brought them back to Ink Orbit.

Now Comet helps around the shop as a traveling stock greeter, counter visitor, and emotional support fluffball for difficult color decisions. They are especially fond of rare pens and seem to know when special stock is about to appear, often perching nearby as if they summoned it personally.

Comet may be small, but they have the confidence of a royal astronomer, a merchant prince, and a very determined dust bunny combined.

Personality:
Curious, proud, loyal, theatrical, affectionate, stubborn, and extremely serious about pretend responsibilities.

Likes:
Rare pens, shiny bottles, soft scarves, sitting on counters, being called helpful, traveling stock days, and dramatic entrances.

Dislikes:
Being moved from a comfy spot, empty snack dishes, messy shelves, boring colors, and anyone touching the rare stock without permission.
