Mochi
Age: Unknown
Origin planet: Lunaris Reach
Companion: Mira

About:

Mochi is Mira’s round, excitable companion and the unofficial mascot of Orbit & Impact. Small, soft, and absolutely convinced he understands advanced striker physics, Mochi takes great pride in supervising every Comet Striker that enters the shop.

Mochi comes from Lunaris Reach, where moonlit cliffs and gentle low-gravity fields make even the smallest hops look heroic. Before meeting Mira, Mochi spent most of his time wandering crater markets, following snack carts, and collecting shiny game pieces that did not technically belong to him. He had a special talent for finding the smoothest discs and then refusing to give them back without a treat.

Mira first met Mochi during a crater-side practice match. A Comet Striker rolled out of the game circle, and Mochi immediately claimed it as his personal moon throne. Mira tried to retrieve it, but Mochi sat very still and looked deeply official. After several negotiations involving snacks, compliments, and a spare cushion, Mochi agreed to become Mira’s assistant.

Now Mochi helps at Orbit & Impact as a counter buddy, lucky charm, and very serious striker inspector. He taps pieces with his paws, sniffs rare stock, and sometimes sits beside a striker he thinks will bring someone good luck. Whether or not Mochi actually predicts winning pieces is still debated, mostly by Mochi.

Though he can be stubborn, Mochi has a big heart. He loves cheering on players, celebrating good flips, and making sure every customer leaves with a Comet Striker that feels special.

Personality:
Cheerful, stubborn, snack-loving, loyal, dramatic, curious, and convinced he is an expert.

Likes:
Comet Strikers, moon snacks, soft cushions, lucky flips, shiny discs, praise, gentle hops, and sitting on important things.

Dislikes:
Being rushed, empty snack bowls, boring strikers, cracked edges, unfair games, and anyone saying he is “just sitting there.”
